Our Methods
We use a multitude of sharpening materials
and techniques determined by the condition
of your instruments. We may use:
-
Natural abrasive stones such as hard
Arkansas stone

-
Artificial materials such as aluminum
oxide, silicon carbide or diamond
particles
-
We use both manual (unmounted) and power
driven (mandrel mounted) cylindrical &
flat stones
Our highly educated technicians wear eye
loupes to examine the cutting edge of each
instrument. Once the areas needing
sharpening have been determined, the
sharpening method is chosen and sharpening
takes place precisely where the cutting edge
is dull... that's the SHARP ADVANTAGE.
We buff and polish all edges. We also will
indicate instruments that may be unsafe to
use with a red band.
We guarantee your satisfaction. Our mission
is to provide you with excellent, accurate
and rapid service tailored to your needs.
